Sharni Vinson

Born in NSW, Australia, Sharni Vinson was raised in Sydney's southern beach area of Cronulla. She competed at her first National Level of Swimming as an teen and set four State records throughout the course of her high school. Sharni was the youngest athlete in her family having started at an early age with acting, singing and dancing. She was surrounded by performers in musical theatre in addition to her mother receiving a Borovansky Ballet Company scholarship to England in 1945. Sharni started her training in dance with the Brent Street School of Performing Arts, Sydney. She took 10 years of training in every aspect of the art. at the age of 17, after graduating high school, Sharni was offered a contract with Roadshow Music Australia as a member of the girl-only group called "Foxfire IV" and their debut track 'Roses' reached the top 50 on the Australia's ARIA charts.
